ArtsFest 2009 was a smashing success! But don't take our word for it...
"Dear (Chaperone),
Thank you for everything. Please communicate to the people and organization that made it possible, that Artsfest has been a totally positive force in my son's life. Even though we celebrate all major Jewish holidays, even though he went to Hebrew school from the ages of age of 5 through 14, even though he had a Bar Mitzvah, its been Artsfest, somehow, that has given him his most significant Jewish identity and commitment.
Maccabi Artsfest has become for him, an avenue, a pathway, a road, for his positive development as an artist, a person, and a Jew.
Many many thanks.
Brenda (Parent)"
"The fact that in 4 very short days, you can make so many great friends and learn so much about your arts specialty, Judaism, and yourself is incredible." Sara, 14, Columbus
"My favorite part was not just my art specialty and the final performance, but getting to meet new people from all over the world and to share in something we all love, the arts." David, 16, Baltimore
Relive that '09 magic!!
